Attempting to reconstruct a clothing dryer switch

I’m attempting to construct my own dryer door switch in order to save some bucks is getting more expensive by the minute. How much is my time worth? Factor the satisfaction of doing it myself, minus the cost of not doing other things, minus the time I’ll need to spend to re-fix it later = not as much fun as I originally thought.

That is the problem having a heavy interest in technical things- I tend to over-research and under-create…because we all know, learning instead of doing is much more satisfying, right?

That is why I think it is so important to be able to find the doers, the makers and creators. Learn from them and speed the process in order to take action. I don’t know anything about wing dynamics or resolution lift or stable flight construction, but this FT Versa Wing tutorial goes into beautiful detail about how to make a sub-$30 remote controlled airplane.

I don’t need to learn the why. I can learn about wing lift later if I’m interested…when I get back from flying my remote controlled airplane. (I doubt I will).

Now I just wish I could find someone who has spend half a Saturday constructing a cheap dryer door switch, and documented it on youtube (I doubt there is one).
