While it isn’t sewing, over at Steve’s BJJ Log, he goes through his experiences with dying and Batik’ing different JuJitsu Gis. He goes through the process of applying dye colors from green, biohazard orange (with a bio hazard logo on the back), to red (with a punisher logo on the back) and a seafoam green Gi with lotus logo. I’m surprised how well the bright Biohazard Gi looks- I guess it is something like the bright Wushu uniforms on the colorful silk kimonos some Kung Fu practitioners wear.
