Google Chrome refuses to install

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled google chrome several times on my Mac.
Details:
10.7.5 Mac OS X Lion

See my post at Google’s product forum for Chrome

I get several errors showing in my Macs console application every second and it seems to be slowing down my Mac. The error is com.apple.launchd.peruser.501: (com.google.Chrome.framework.service_process/Users/Chaz/Library/Application_Support/Google/Chrome[19124])

Please note that this is not the standard path- there is an underscore in Application_Support.

I’ve already tried I terminal launchctl unload com.google….etc but each time I am told the file does not exist- which is true. There is no “Application_Support” folder on my Mac. I even tried recreating the folder structure, but I am told there is “nothing to stat” and also m told the file is not there.

Thinking I spelled it wrong, i copied the path from the console window carefully and pasted it into terminal. Same response.

I ran
launchctl list
And i see com.google.Chrome.framework.service_process
As well As
Com.google.keystone.system.agent

But I’m still getting errors in console.

As a trick, I copied the chess application into the location where Chrome should be- applications/etc and then renamed be executable inside the Chrome application package. Immediately, the chess application opened.

Some are thinking this has to do with google’s cloud print.
