Talking to Robert Barney about creating a community of other artists, he suggested checking out Mediastorm. It seems to be focused on great storytelling in film with some photos in there. I think the hardest thing about making art is how long it takes. I would love to make videos, but they take so much planning.
Rob also mentioned his friend Lisa Cheney-Jorgensen, a local artist who makes awesome ink+color wash journals.
